Responsibilities

• Collect used and contaminated equipment for sorting and decontamination.
• Manually clean contaminated supplies and maintain decontamination equipment.
• Prepare and pack decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
• Monitor and operate sterilization equipment.
• Ensure items are cleaned and sanitized.
• Test and report sterilization equipment issues.
• Sterilize, wrap, and organize instrument trays for procedures.
• Deliver equipment for surgeries and medical carts.
• Maintain records of sterilization processes and inventory.
• Manage inventory, reorders, and track expiration dates.
