Job summary

Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster, LTD's North Pointe Surgery Center in Pennsylvania is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our outpatient team. You will prepare, decontaminate, package, and distribute surgical supplies, maintain sterile areas, and support perioperative staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The ideal candidate holds CSPDT, CRCST, or CIS certification (or equivalent) and a High School diploma, with strong attention to detail, computer skills, and a commitment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CSPDT, CRCST or CIS certification is required.
• 1+ year of sterile processing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical and surgical supplies and instrumentation.
• Decontaminate, clean, package, sterilize, and store supplies.
• Distribute supplies from sterile processing to perioperative teams as needed.
• Operate processing equipment safely and follow manufacturer instructions.
• Monitor and document sterilizer indicators (physical, chemical, biological).
• Prepare and distribute surgical case carts according to physician preferences.
• Inventory, receive, and restock materials for sterile processing services.
• Adhere to policies, regulations, and accreditation standards; maintain privacy.
