Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; sterile processing training completed.
• Certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in instrument handling.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sterilize, inspect and assemble surgical instruments and trays.
• Prepare procedural case carts and operate washers/sterilizers safely.
• Maintain inventory using instrument tracking systems and label items accurately.
• Support OR, Delivery Room, nursing units and other departments as needed.
• Participate in onboarding of new team members and adhere to policies.
