Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the operating room by sterilizing, inspecting, and packaging instruments. You will care for equipment, follow infection control standards, and ensure accurate handling of supplies for the OR.

This role is based in our Boynton Beach, FL facility. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with SPD or Surgical Technician training preferred and certification preferred.

• Graduate of SPD or Surgical Technician training program preferred.
• Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment and instruments.
• Duties involve care, packaging, inspection, cleaning and reprocessing of surgical instrumentation.
• Inventory and distribution of equipment and supplies for the operating room.
