Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, and stores surgical instruments and trays.
• Provides correct instrumentation for the operating room and other procedural areas.
• Inspects case carts, instruments, and supplies and stores items appropriately in the SPD.
• Acquires needed items and delivers them to the operating room.
• Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure and pursues professional growth.
