Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician in Des Peres, MO to support OR operations by decontaminating, assembling and sterilizing instruments. You will follow facility guidelines, document activities, and ensure proper storage and traceability of supplies.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and a valid BLS certification, with potential for additional responsibilities and growth within a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Central Sterile or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, decontaminate and assemble instruments for OR, Lasik, SLT and MD offices.
• Prepare instruments per manufacturer guidelines and wrap/pack appropriately.
• Prioritize tasks and manage case schedules with surgeon teams.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Document instrument status and log temperatures.
