The role requires meticulous record-keeping and adherence to accreditation standards. Responsibilities include instrument prep, case set organization, equipment monitoring, and log documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of related experience or training.
• Central Sterile or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, disassemble, decontaminate and assemble instruments for ORs and clinics.
• Prepare instruments per guidelines and wrap or package for storage.
• Prioritize tasks and manage case schedules with surgeons.
• Comply with HIPAA and maintain documentation and logs.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and record temperatures.
