Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time, night shift.

The role focuses on decontaminating, preparing, packaging, sterilizing and distributing hospital instruments for the Surgical Services team. Requirements include CRCST certification from IAHCSMM and at least two years of Central Sterile Processing experience; certification within six months of onboarding is expected.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
• Two years of experience in Central Sterile Processing preferred; certification within 6 months of onboarding.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization processes, and familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, prepare, package, sterilize and distribute instruments and supplies.
• Support perioperative care by handling instruments safely and efficiently in the Sterile Processing Dept.
