Qualifications

• Must possess abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
• Two years of recent experience in a similar role and setting.
• Knowledge of effective inventory storage and retrieval practices.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the sterilization process of surgical instruments.
• Thorough knowledge of a variety of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiatives, prioritize demands and work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for all activities and competencies related to sterile processing.
• Ensure instrumentation and equipment for surgery and exams are sterilized and assembled per guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Assist with ordering and procuring equipment and instrumentation as needed.
