Job summary

USPI's SurgCenter Pima Crossing is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prepare supplies for surgery cases in our ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, with certification preferred. Familiarity with sterilizers and OR instrumentation is essential, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Responsibilities

• The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
