Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; sterile processing certification preferred.
• Prior hospital experience; on‑the‑job training available to prepare for courses or certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze OR schedule to identify instrument needs.
• Operate decontamination equipment and sterilizers per manufacturer instructions.
• Create accurate case carts using resource maps and pick tickets.
• Maintain sterilization logs and inventory; replace supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with Operating Room Manager and maintain communication regarding instrument readiness.
