Mercy Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Instrument Technician to support Decontamination, Processing and Sterilization of instruments. You will follow Manufacturer's Instructions for Use and hospital policies while maintaining documentation in logs or computer systems.

Ideal candidates have healthcare experience, PPE readiness, and strong teamwork across shifts. The role is full-time, evenings, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, with on-call implications.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of sterilization processes in a clinical setting.
• Must be able to wear PPE and interact with diverse staff.

Responsibilities

• Handle Decontamination, Processing and Sterilization of instruments.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in writing or on computer systems.
• Prioritize instrumentation, answer calls, and dispatch items as needed.
• Follow Manufacturer's Instructions for Use and hospital policies.
