Job summary

Community Regional Medical Center seeks a Sterile Processing Technician 2 to ensure surgical instruments and supplies are cleaned, inspected, assembled, and sterilized for use across operating rooms and hospital departments.

You will decontaminate instrumentation, prepare trays, and maintain organized storage while monitoring for defects or expiration and guiding peers when leadership is unavailable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (HSE) required.
• Must have at least 8 months of hospital Sterile Processing Tech experience.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Decontaminate instrumentation using approved methods and prepare trays.
• Monitor supplies for defects or expiration and report issues to leadership.
