Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a meticulous sterile processing technician responsible for sterilizing and cleaning medical equipment, instruments, and supplies. You will retrieve contaminated items, deliver sterile supplies, and prepare instrument trays for surgeries.

Strong attention to detail, familiarity with sterilization techniques, and the ability to handle fragile equipment are essential. You will also maintain records and ensure proper inventory control in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high attention to detail and be meticulous with sterilization processes.
• Familiarity with various sterilization techniques and equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect used/contaminated equipment for sorting and decontamination.
• Clean and maintain decontamination equipment; prepare sterilized items.
• Prepare and pack decontaminated supplies for sterilization and organize instrument trays.
• Monitor sterilization equipment and verify proper operation.
• Maintain records of sterilization procedures and inventory, including expiration dates.
