Job summary

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of instrumentation and medical equipment using chemical agents and automated systems.
• Assembles, preps and packs instrumentation; inspects cleanliness and function; labels and wraps instruments for sterilization.
• Sterilizes instruments following prescribed procedures and monitors parameters for all sterilization processes.
• Picks and assembles case carts; maintains sterile storage area; coordinates with perioperative staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Technical Training in Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing

CRCST or CSPDT certification (preferred)
