Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) seeks a Sterile Processing Tech II to manage the inspection, preparation, and sterilization of surgical instruments used in operations. A High School diploma, Central Service Technician Certification, and 2+ years of experience in surgical instrument prep are preferred. This position operates from 3pm to 11:30pm and includes rotating weekend shifts. Successful candidates will complete their certification within one year of employment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years surgical instrument preparation experience preferred.
• Certification can be obtained within one year of employment with proof of 6 months working experience and completion of CS program and internship.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the inspection, preparation, and sterilization of instruments.
• Loads and unloads sterilizers.
