Job summary

You will document high-level disinfection, monitor processes, and collaborate with interdepartmental teams to meet industry standards and manufacturer instructions. The role includes manual cleaning and use of reprocessors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspects instruments and completes high level disinfection documentation in accordance with industry standards, guidelines, and manufacturer instructions for use.
• Sterilizes medical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, substances and equipment.
• Monitors sterilization processes and documents quality assurance testing.
• Manually clean and high level disinfect semi-critical devices including appropriate use of borescope and independent automatic endoscope reprocessor operation.
• Collaborates with interdepartmental teams to identify instrumentation needs.
• Locates, compiles, and distributes requested instrumentation appropriately.
