Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a Hospital/Acute Care Surgical SPD setting or as a Surgical Technician
• Proficient in assembling large complex instrumentation (e.g., spine, open heart, robotic)
• Must hold CSPDT or CST or CRCST certification per governing bodies

Responsibilities

• Process and distribute instruments and medical equipment for in-patient areas.
• Input patient charges related to SPD activities.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment following infection control standards.
• Document sterilization loads and performance checks.
• Train and support new SPD staff as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
