Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a recognized Central Service Technician course and keep CEUs updated.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card due within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of experience in Central Service.
• Experience in general office practices, purchasing, business ethics and prudent buyer concepts.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, the Central Tech II processes and sterilizes equipment and instrumentation.
• Issues and receives supplies and equipment per established procedures; maintains real-time inventory status.
• Receives and responds to all calls for product, equipment and supplies.
