Augusta Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I for the second shift to maintain infection control standards throughout the decontamination and re-processing of surgical instruments. You will ensure proper handling, sterilization, and distribution of supplies across the hospital.

The ideal candidate will work well in a team or independently, with readiness to cover Days, Evenings, and Nights. A high school diploma is preferred, and a specialty certification (HSPA) is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Specialty certification desired (HSPA).
• Experience in hospital/clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Maintain infection control standards during decontamination and re-processing of equipment.
• Ensure proper inventory, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, packaging and distribution of supplies.
