CHS Career Site is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech for an evening shift (3 pm - 11:30 pm) in Statesboro, GA. The technician ensures clean, sterile instruments and supports surgical cases with inventory management and infection control compliance.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in sterile processing, strong attention to detail, and teamwork skills to support patient safety and hospital operations.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of sterile processing or instrument reprocessing experience.
• Familiarity with infection control policies and hospital procedures.
• Ability to follow strict protocols with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Select and supply surgical instruments per protocol.
• Stock and assemble case carts for procedures.
• Organize and label sterilized instruments for easy access.
• Monitor inventory and restock shelves daily.
• Adhere to infection control policies and standard precautions.
• Process timely returns and dispensing of supplies.
• Conduct inventory checks and replace expired items.
• Communicate with nursing units to locate equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain consistent attendance and policy compliance.
