Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a Sterile Processing/SPD Technician to decontaminate, assemble and distribute surgical instrumentation and supplies for the OR and nursing units. You will maintain documentation and operate sterilization equipment, with flexibility to work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

• Ability to operate sterilizers, washers and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• Basic computer literacy and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and distribute surgical instrumentation and supplies.
• Operate and maintain sterilization and decontamination equipment.
• Maintain documentation related to duties and tracking of instruments.
• Orient and work across UCSF Medical Center locations as needed.
