CentraCare Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support patient safety by ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, sterilized, and available for procedures. You will work with a supportive team and play a pivotal role in preventing infections and maintaining high standards.

The role involves using instrument tracking systems, decontamination processes, and collaboration with caregivers across the health system.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand detailed technical instruction for surgical instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Prepare instrument trays for surgeries and procedures.
• Operate sterilization and instrument tracking systems.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Support caregivers throughout the health system by ensuring critical equipment is available when needed.
