San Antonio Regional Hospital in California is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to provide general sterile processing services within the hospital. Responsibilities include assembly, distribution and storage of supplies and equipment, as well as retrieval of dirty equipment.

Minimum 1 year experience required as a Sterile Processing Technician; if less than 1 year, completion of Central Service or Surgical Technician program is required.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
• If less than 1 year experience, must have completed a Central Service Technician Program/Course or Surgical Technician Program/Course.
• High school diploma or GED preferred. If less than 1 year Sterile Processing Technician experience, must have Completed a Central Service Technician Program/Course or Surgical Technician Program/Course.
• Must obtain IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification within one year of hire.
• Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.
