ChristianaCare Health System in Newark, DE, is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician I (CSPDT or CRCST) for the overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role includes cleaning, assembling, packaging and sterilizing instruments, following CBSPD/CRCST, AAMI, and HSPA standards, with safety and infection control as top priorities.

The position requires a high school diploma and CBSPD/CRCST certification; candidates with prior sterile processing experience will be favored.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Sterile Processing Technician Certification CBSPD/CRCST required.
• Experience with sterile processing and infection control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assemble, wrap and label instruments and sets.
• Operate sterilization equipment and record parameters.
