Job summary

Trinity Health’s St Mary’s Health Care System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Surgical Services team in Athens, GA. The role focuses on decontamination, preparation, packaging and sterilization of instruments and equipment for daily operative use.

The ideal candidate holds CRCST certification, with two years of Central Sterile experience preferred and a requirement to obtain certification within six months of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from IAHCSMM.
• Two years experience in another Central Sterile/Processing area preferred.
• Certification required within 6 months of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize devices, tools, and equipment used in surgical procedures.
• Perform decontamination, preparation, packaging, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation and supplies for Surgical Services.
