Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (SPD) to decontaminate, clean, process and sterilize supplies and equipment in accordance with Infection Control Practices.

The role requires attention to procedures, the ability to work under pressure, and cooperation with other hospital departments; 8-hour shifts with variable start times. Minimum one year of related experience is preferred, and a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as Central Service Technician or Surgical Tech preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and equipment nomenclature (required).
• Knowledgeable with cleaning and sterilization procedures and techniques (required).
• High School Diploma/GED minimum.

Responsibilities
