Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is hiring a Full Time Sterile Processing Tech. The role involves caring for and maintaining all surgical instrumentation and preparing OR trays for procedures. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered and schedule options include two evening shifts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and CRCST or equivalent certification. Experience with various sterilizers and OR instrumentation is expected to ensure top patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or equivalent certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience as Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with steam/gravity sterilizers and Steris systems.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and trays.

Responsibilities

• Care for and maintain all surgical instrumentation.
• Set up operating room instrument trays for procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot sterilizers and related equipment.
