Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown in Dallas, TX is hiring a full-time Sterile Processing Technician to maintain surgical instrumentation and support sterile supply chains.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2-3 years of experience, knowledge of sterilizers, OR instrumentation, and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years' experience as Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation.
• Ability to set up operating room instrument trays.
• Understanding of steam/gravity sterilizers.
• Understanding of standard sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
