Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech- Noncert at SJH in Tampa. This full-time evening shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) supports decontamination, prep, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation following department procedures.

You will mentor staff, help train team members, and ensure timely processing. Requirements include a high school diploma; preferred certification and hospital experience; certification within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Certified Sterile Processing Tech.
• Preferred: Hospital experience.
• Must become certified within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, prep, package and sterilize instruments per department procedures.
• Acts as preceptor, mentor and resource for department team members.
