HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized and ready for surgeries in a busy hospital setting. You will collaborate with nurses and surgeons to support precise, safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications include a High School/GED and CRCST or CSPDT certification within 2 years of start. The role offers comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities in a large healthcare system.

Competenze

• High School Graduate / GED required.
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CSPDT (Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) certification must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Mansioni

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries

Formazione
