TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for surgeries. The role emphasizes patient safety and meticulous attention to sterilization processes within the operating environment.

You will work with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs, maintain sterile supplies, and support efficient, high-quality surgical care at our Springfield, Tennessee facility.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in sterile processing environment.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards.
• Monitor sterilization cycles, document results, and resolve issues to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Prepare and organize instrument trays and surgical rooms per daily schedule and procedural needs.
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials while keeping the area clean and organized.
• Work closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support efficient surgeries.
