Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification by the Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or CRCST upon hire or within two years.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Operates steam and ETO gas sterilizers.
• Maintain extra supplies.
• Updates file cards and maintains daily records.
• Participates in continuing education programs in the hospital and in outside seminars and workshops.
