Job summary

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, IN is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and transportation of medical instrumentation and supplies under SSP Leadership.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Program as a CST or CRCST/CIS or CBSPD is preferred but not required. Work hours are 2pm to 10:30pm, with holiday and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Program preferred (CST/CRCST/CIS/CBSPD) but not required.
• Certifications preferred but not required may be CST, CRCST, CIS, CBSPD.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, cleaning, assembly and transportation of medical instrumentation and supplies to requesting departments under SSP Leadership.
• Ensure sterile processing procedures meet department standards and timelines.
