Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as Sterilization Technician.
• Previous dental or medical sterilization experience.
• Copy of all current certifications and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment in infection control standards.
• Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials arranged.
• Operate autoclaves and sterilization equipment with attention to detail.
• Monitor and log sterilization cycles and ensure documented safety compliance.
• Support the clinical team by maintaining a clean, organized sterilization area.
• Dispose of hazardous waste following proper protocols.
• Participate in team huddles to foster a clean, efficient work environment.

Sterilization Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
• Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring sterilized instruments and materials are properly arranged.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment with attention to detail.
• Monitor and log sterilization cycles and ensure all documentation meets safety requirements.
• Support the clinical team by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area.
• Dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste following proper protocols.
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to a clean, efficient, and positive working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year/sof recent experience as aSterilization Technician.
• Previous dental or medical sterilization experience.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
