Job summary

TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine is seeking an Instrument Technician to manage sterile supplies and instrument maintenance for the ambulatory surgical center. You will prepare, store, process, and sterilize instrument trays and ensure inventory levels are adequate.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while following department and OSHA guidelines. Experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Experience in a medical or hospital environment, preferably working with medical surgical supplies.
• Sterile processing certification a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• The Instrument Technician is responsible for the sterile supplies and maintenance of the ambulatory surgical center.
• Preparation, storage, processing, and sterilization of instrument trays and supplies.
• Ensures and maintains adequate supply levels.
• Checks for broken, defective, out-dated, or missing items and reports them to the manager.
• Adheres to procedures in accordance with department and OSHA guidelines.
