Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to support operating rooms, labor and delivery, and related departments. You will clean, decontaminate, sterilize and distribute medical instruments, ensuring they are properly prepared, documented and ready for use.

This on-site, full-time second-shift position offers a 40-hour workweek. Hourly rate ranges from $21.85 to $32.83 with eligibility for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) and

Qualifications

• 1 year in Sterile Processing.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Prepares, inspects and assembles surgical instruments, powered equipment, and endoscopes into trays or packages for sterilization.
• Collects, cleans, disinfects patient care equipment and surgical instruments from clinical units and ORs.
• Delivers and inventories clean and sterile equipment; replenishes supplies for department and OR carts.
• Transports soiled and sterile instrumentation between facilities (Marlton positions).
• Operates, monitors and documents results of decontamination and sterilization equipment.
