Inova Health in Fairfax, VA seeks a Sterile Processing Tech 2 for the night shift (Mon–Fri, with every other weekend), 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. You will decontaminate, assemble, and ensure sterility of instruments, while helping prioritize and lead within the department.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, CRCST/CBSPD certification, and at least one year of sterile processing experience. Inova Health offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

• One year Sterile Processing experience required.

Responsabilités

• Decontaminates instruments in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Assembles instrumentation accurately and efficiently.
• Ensures sterility of all processed items.
• Maintains instruments inventory and ensures timely distribution of instruments to all customers.
• Prioritizes instruments.
• Assembles complex trays.
• Assumes a leadership role within the department.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital Sterile Processing is looking for a dedicated Sterile Processing Tech 2 to join the Team. This full-time role will be night-shift working Monday - Friday and every other weekend from 10:00pm - 6:30am located in Fairfax, VA.

Sterile Processing Tech 2 Responsibilities

• Decontaminates instruments in a safe and appropriate manner.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent


• Certification: Certified Registered Central Service Technician Upon Start CRCST or CBSPD certification; Certification from The International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).


• Experience: One year Sterile Processing experience required.
