Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks a Sterile Processing Tech for the 1st shift to provide continuous flow of sterile and reusable supplies. You will decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and monitor instruments, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role includes rotating weekends and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include inventory control, instrument preparation, and quality assurance. The candidate should have a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience in sterile

Qualifications

• Proficient in maintaining a sterile environment and safe handling of supplies.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and their use in a clinical setting.
• Ability to operate and maintain sterilization equipment and tools.
• Competence in inventory control and storage of sterile supplies.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper handling of sterile supplies.
• Receive, decontaminate, and assemble instrumentation per procedures.
• Prepare instruments for sterilization following approved methods.
• Document and monitor quality control measures and equipment performance.
• Operate and maintain departmental equipment safely and effectively.
