The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to sterilize instruments in hospital and clinic settings under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager with input from the OR Charge Nurse.
Requirements include a High School diploma or GED. Sterile Processing Certification preferred, or two years’ experience in an OR instrumentation area. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds throughout the shift.
Responsible for the sterilization of appropriate instruments within the hospital and clinic, under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager with input from the OR Charge Nurse.
Qualifications: High School graduate or GED. Completion of Sterile Processing Certification Program preferred, or two years experience in an Operating Room instrumentation area or related field. Must be able to stand for long periods of time walking and lifting up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
High School Diploma required.
Sterile Processing experience preferred but not required.
