College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician responsible for sterilizing instruments in a hospital/clinic setting under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and may prefer Sterile Processing certification or related OR instrumentation experience.
Applicants must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 60 pounds.
Responsible for the sterilization of appropriate instruments within the hospital and clinic, under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager with input from the OR Charge Nurse.
Qualifications: High School graduate or GED. Completion of Sterile Processing Certification Program preferred, or two years experience in an Operating Room instrumentation area or related field. Must be able to stand for long periods of time walking and lifting up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
High School Diploma required.
Sterile Processing experience preferred but not required.
