Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, process, sterilize and distribute instruments and sterile supplies.

You will operate sterilization equipment, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards. CRCST or CSPDT certification is required within 18 months.

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in sterile processing or CRCST/C CSPDT training or in progress.
• Computer skills required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification within 18 months.

• Perform routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies.

• Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment.

• Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• High School diploma or GED required

• Must have some sterile processing experience or in the proicess of getting CRCST or CSPDT

• Computer skills required

• CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 18 months

Physical Requirements – Medium Work – (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Pay Range

$19.62 – $33.04 /hour
