Job summary

Seaside Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Tech to maintain and care for surgical instruments and prepare supplies for cases. The role supports our ambulatory surgery environment in Florida.

Minimum 1–2 years Sterile Processing experience is preferred; a Sterile Process Certification program is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Familiarity with sterilizers and OR instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Sterile Processing Tech at Seaside Surgery Center

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
