Job summary

Millennium Surgical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech on a per diem basis to support our surgical team. The role focuses on maintaining and preparing all surgical instruments and supplies for procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience, and a Sterile Processing Certification. Experience with sterilizers and OR instrumentation is preferred; strong adaptability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• Completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program required.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

Sterile Processing Tech at Millennium Surgical Center

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is required
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Pay Range: $22.00/hr - $34.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
