Job summary

You will lead daily task assignments, train staff, monitor sterilizers (steam and hydrogen peroxide), and ensure accurate records while coordinating with hospital departments and supporting educational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Decontamination, processing and sterilization of instruments with regulatory compliance.
• Leadership, training and supervision of Sterile Processing staff.
• Maintains accurate records and participates in education projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily task assignments and supervises others.
• Prioritizes, reallocates staff to meet production needs.
• Assists in staffing decisions to support hospital services.
• Operates and verifies sterilizers and monitors for proper function.
• Ensures compliance with AAMI, AORN, JC and OSHA standards.
