Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Supervisor of Sterile Processing Technicians to oversee I and II staff, coordinate workflow, and promote safe, standard work practices across the department. This role collaborates with leadership to optimize interdepartmental collaboration and maintain high patient care standards.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives, ensure compliance with best practices, and drive continuous improvement while guiding staff through performance optimization and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Central sterile processing certification preferred; must obtain within 18 months of hire.
• Experience supervising sterile processing workflows is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Standard Work in Sterile Processing to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintain competency and function as a Sterile Processing Technician as needed.
• Report and update the department software.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership across units to promote best practices.
