Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus is seeking a Central Processing supervisor to oversee staff and coordinate departmental activities across the Valley Health System, including Luckow Pavilion and Valley Medical Group practices. You will assess, standardize and monitor sterilization equipment and practices under the Infection Control committee, and submit regular reports.

Requirements include a high school diploma with college degree preferred, CST course recognized by NJ DOH, National CST

Qualifications

• Five plus years of verifiable Central Processing experience.
• Ability to communicate and write in English.
• Understand and apply AAMI standards in sterilization.
• Supervisory experience and effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Central Processing personnel and coordinate department activities.
• Assess, standardize and monitor sterilization equipment, protocols and practices.
• Submit regular reports to the Infection Control Committee.
• Support implementation of new ideas referencing AAMI standards.
