Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus is seeking a skilled Central Processing supervisor to oversee staff and coordinate departmental activities across the entire system, including Luckow Pavilion and Valley Medical Group practices, with a strong emphasis on infection control standards.

You will assess sterilization equipment, standardize practices, monitor compliance, and report regularly to the Infection Control Committee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Central Service Technician course recognized by the New Jersey Department of Health; certification required.
• National Central Service Technician Certification required; CIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Central Processing staff and coordinate departmental activities.
• Assess, standardize and monitor sterilization equipment, protocols and practices across Valley Health System.
• Submit regular reports to the Infection Control Committee.
