Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead the SPD operations, ensuring safe, timely cleaning, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage and distribution of instruments and equipment.

You will supervise SPD staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Perioperative Services, procedural departments, and vendors to support high-quality patient care while maintaining infection control and product availability.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited CS Technician course.
• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
• CRCST or CSPDS certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily SPD operations to ensure safe, timely cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, storage and distribution of instruments and equipment.
• Supervise SPD staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Perioperative Services, procedural departments, and vendors.
• Monitor infection control throughout all reprocessing phases and manage instrument inventory and technology.
