Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks a Supervisor, Sterile Processing for a day shift. This full-time role manages the Sterile Processing Department and ensures timely availability of sterile supplies for the OR and nursing units.

The ideal candidate holds CBSPD or HSPA certification with within 6 months, at least 3 years SPD experience (5 years preferred) including supervisory exposure; HS diploma required with college degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred.
• Certification: CBSPD or HSPA required; certification within 6 months.
• Experience: SPD with 3 years and 1 year supervisory; 5 years SPD total.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the sterile processing function of the Sterile Processing Department.
• Maintain adequate supply of sterilized products for the OR, nursing units, and other departments.
• Oversees and evaluates the performance of all support positions in the department.

Hourly Pay Range

$26.61 - $39.92 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What You Will Need

• License: N/A
• Education: High school Diploma or GED required, College Degree Preferred.
• Certification: Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required. Obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessing Certification within 6 months of accepting position.
• Experience: Three years’ experience in SPD with one year supervisory experience. Five years’ experience in SPD.
